Arrive at the airport and transfer to the resort, timing based on flight details provided.
Check into the resort at any time after 4 p.m.
3-6 p.m.: Visit the welcome table at the resort entrance.
7-8 p.m.: Welcome reception with drinks and appetizers at the resort’s La Cana Bar & Restaurant.
The rest of the evening at your leisure.
Day 2
6:30-11 a.m.: Breakfast at La Cana Bar & Restaurant.
The rest of the day at your leisure. We suggest that you go horseback riding, play tennis, go skeet or trap shooting, make a splash at one of the shimmering pools or explore the resort’s 7,000 acres (2,833 hectares) by golf cart. Or, if you’d rather, you can treat yourself to an off-site activity or pampering spa time (at your own expense). For something different, you can stroll over to Altos de Chavon to explore the gorgeous replica 16th-century Mediterranean village
Day 3
6:30-10:30 a.m.: Breakfast at La Cana Bar & Restaurant.
11 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.: Catamaran getaway to Catalina Island; includes towels and lounge chairs, onboard music and dancing, transportation and gratuities. See Additional Information for details and restrictions.
• 11 a.m.: Depart from the resort and head to Minitas Beach.
• From your private group pickup area on Minitas Beach, board a catamaran and set off for Catalina Island.
• As you sail, relax under shaded lounge chairs, soak up the sun or dance along to the onboard merengue music.
• Arrive at Catalina Island and disembark to explore the island’s white-sand beaches and crystalline waters.
• 3:45 p.m.: Return to the resort by catamaran.
